Category 5e was defined in 2001 by the American standard TIA/EIA-568-B as a minimum standard for computer network cabling projects. Its technical parameters allow data transmission to be carried out at a frequency of 100 MHz at a rate of 100 Mbps up to 1 Gbps, over 100 meters.

What is CMX?

The term CMX designates the cable's flammability class, i.e. how much the cable propagates flame in the event of a fire. The CMX flammability class is recommended for residential installations or in locations with a low concentration of people or equipment. It is the lowest flammability class available.

The European RoHS Directive is a restrictive measure on the use of heavy metals in the manufacture of products and related to environmental preservation.

Does the SOHOPLUS Patch Panel come in a shielded model?

The loaded SOHOPLUS Patch Panel is not available in a shielded model. It must be associated with the use of non-shielded accessories, such as the SOHOPLUS CAT.5e Electronic Cable.

Is there a male connector?

There are male connectors, which are used to connect the ends of cables to active or passive components (such as Patch Panels and female connectors). Flexible cables connected at both ends with male connectors (the male connectors being adapted to the type and category of cable used) are called patch cords or patch cords, and must have two ANATEL certificates: one for the cable and one for the patch cord.
